True Prayer
Throughout the ages we have been making a spiritual effort to realize conscious union with our God. This can only be accomplished through true prayer. True Prayer is following the directions given by our way-shower as written in Matt. 6:6
It is difficult to improve on this very simple method. Quietly entering the inner chamber of your consciousness, shutting the door to the external noise of daily life, and seeking conscious union with the Presence is the highest form of prayer we know.

Meditation
Meditation is focusing on a thought and the method we use to enter the Silence. The purpose of the silence is to quiet and still the activity of our day in order that the "...still small voice..." may be heard. For in the silence Spirit speakes Truth to us and just that Truth of which we have asked and stand in need. A wonderful practice comes from the Daily Word, which you may obtain by clicking here.
